General Informatics Resources

 

The informatics facilities of the Urogenital Research Unit include 22 complete microcomputers, with printers, in network with all laboratories of the Unit and to the Internet via the University web. Regular scanners and scanners with lid for transparency digitalization (used, for example, for, electrophoresis plates and autoradiographies) also exist.

Besides basic software, the Urogenital Unit laboratories use programs for statistics analysis, image processing, and specific application programs for biochemistry (densitometry, chemical assays, centrifugation, among others).
